Hugh has worked for Nestlé for 15 years, holding a number of positions at the company’s global R&D centre for confectionery in York. He currently manages the centre’s external research programme. He has a BSc in Chemical Physics and a PhD in Physics from University of Bristol, and prior to joining the food industry had an academic career with the Universities of Lausanne, Adelaide and Durham.
