John O’Brien’s experience spans the international food industry with senior leadership positions in Academia, Government and Industry. Formerly Chief Executive Officer of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland, he was until recently a Senior Scientist at Nestlé (in Switzerland) and held senior leadership positions in Groupe Danone (France). He is currently a Board Member of Campden BRI, a member of the Science Council of the Food Standards Agency (UK) and is a Visiting Professor at Ulster University. He previously served on the Boards of ILSI and IFSH.
