Prof. Peter Jackson

Peter Jackson is Professor of Human Geography at the University of Sheffield where he leads the Sheffield Sustainable Food Futures research group (SheFF). He directed the Leverhulme Trust’s ‘Changing Families, Changing Food’ research programme (2005-8) and the CONANX project on consumer anxieties about food, funded by the European Research Council (2009-13). His recent work includes a study of convenience food, funded the ERA-Net SUSFOOD programme (2014-2017) and an ESRC-funded project on fresh food in the UK and Portugal (2016-2018).
